Does the account need to be in my name?
Yes. The account must be in your name if it is your employer or organization offering the discount. If the account is in the name of another family member, friend or significant other, you’ll need to complete an Assumption of Liability to transfer the account into your name to be eligible to receive the discount.
Unfortunately, this discount is not available for retirees.
Does my plan or feature qualify for a discount?
Most voice and data plans with a monthly access fee of $34.99 or higher qualify for a discount. The Monthly Account Access Fees, the portion of the fee that applies to all lines, on MORE Everything plans are also discountable if it’s $34.99 or higher. Monthly Line Access Fees, the portion of the fees that are assigned to each individual line, are not eligible for discounts.
Features added onto your account may be eligible for discounts if the monthly access fees are $24.99 or higher. Note: some plans and features are not eligible for discounts and that limitation will be called out in the plan details.
Will the employee discount change or extend my current contract?
No, adding an employee discount won’t extend or change your current Verizon Wireless contract.
How long will it take for my discount to be applied?
Please allow 1 to 2 billing cycles for any discount updates to appear on your monthly bill.
I’ve recently registered for my discount, where can I check to see if the discount is applied to my account?
If you’ve received a notification that your submission was validated, view your discount by signing into My Verizon. From the main My Verizon menu, hover your mouse over the My Verizon menu at the top of the page, select My Plans & Services, scroll to the bottom of the page for Promotions and Discounts. If the discount has been applied for more than one bill cycle, it also appears on your monthly billing statement.
