Officers Per Section

Each section (district) can have up to five officers. We realize that each Division might have different needs. If needed, the Division SCEA Council can vote on adding additional officers. Each Division will also have a Social Committee of up to ten members. These volunteers help to plan and organize events for our members. If you're interested in volunteering and getting involved as an officer, contact your Division's coordinator.

Listed below are the duties of each office. Each section also has an Immediate Past President who acts as a parliamentarian. A section may choose to have additional officers if needed. A prerequisite for the office of President is to have previously held a position on a section board. In our smaller sections we may need to adjust this policy. If a section has only one nominee for a position, that member will be appointed to office after verification of eligibility. If we have multiple volunteers for a given position, it may be necessary to hold section elections.
